ADR­S gäller för internationell och nationell transport av farligt gods på väg och i terräng. Bokstaven ”S” står för den svenska utgåvan. Förkortningen ADR står för Accord européen relatif au transport international des marchandises dangereuses par route (franska), och European Agreement Concerning the ADR är ett regelverk inom EU-länder för hur du ska transportera farligt gods på väg. I Sverige kallas regelverket för ADR-S och betyder att reglerna dels står på svenska, men också har några tilläggsregler som endast gäller för nationella vägtransporter av farligt gods.
